Bio
Marcus Schenck is a Boston-based baritone. Recent credits include Bottom in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Guest artist with Boston Conservatory Opera, April 2024), Willie (The Voyage of Edgar Allan Poe, April 2024), Immanuel (Benjamin Rossen’s The Unknowable – world premiere, February 2024), Mr. Twister (Marc Hoffeditz’s Mr. Twister and the Tale of Tornado Alley, Schlendrian in Bach’s Coffee Cantata in West End Lyric’s inaugural performance, and Lore (The Maid of Orleans), the Baritone Soloist in Vaughan Williams’ Fantasia on Christmas Carols as well as the Bass Soloist in Mozart’s Krönungsmesse, both with the Arlington Philharmonic Orchestra.
Marcus earned his Master of Music (M.M.) in Voice Performance at The Boston Conservatory and his Bachelor of Music (B.M.) from Bucknell University.
